My Story
I’m a mother of 2, Lucy (14) & Leo (12) and my husband and I have been married for 15 years. We met when I was a first grade teacher, we taught at the same school & the whole story of how we came to be is a cute one! I left teaching to help my parents with their store and I’ve been a business owner ever since.
I was 9, when my parents had an idea to start a souvenir t-shirt booth at the swap meet. I have lots of childhood memories of working our booth, even one with me singing with a microphone standing on our coffee table brought from home to attract more customers. Not sure if that really worked (lol) but those are the kinds of memories that have shaped me into the business owner I am today. All of my skills as a business owner were learned through watching my parents and eventually, we came to point where my voice in the business became the driving force.
Although Liv3 is now closed, I am grateful that the closure led me here. To be able to share both my design and business points of view is one I can’t wait to share with you. My point of view comes from my 15+ years as a business owner & co-owner of LEO. I’m proud that my point of view led me to create a business that has allowed myself to be a part of a small group of women owned businesses (1.9% to be exact) who’s yearly revenue marked over one million.
