Why Styling?

When we purchased our La Mesa home, we really couldn’t afford to do anything besides repainting the interior, and for a lot of us, that’s our reality. I was lucky enough to achieve what my family and I needed through thoughtful styling & I’ve been editing & layering over time. Styling allows for accessible impact even when a big construction or furniture budget isn’t possible.

It’s been 6 years since we’ve been in our home and we still haven’t been able to do anything major except for renovation of our only bathroom. And even with a limited budget and footprint (our home is 1283 square feet) I’ve been able to create a stylish home that allows for the type of living that’s both intentional & inspiring.

Our family home was honored to be feature in both Apartment Therapy & Hunker.
